Travel to Tanzania – the Paradise of East Africa

With an amazingly large number of animal parks, white sand beaches, a beguiling island and very hospitable people, Tanzania is definitely a top destination for those that seek to have an unforgettable travel experience. The Solid standing mountains surrounded by dense tropical forests, bird havens and ancient sites are all the more a compelling reason to take up your vacation in this expansive East African country.

What Serengeti National Park is to Tanzania can only be compared to the importance of Kenya’s Maasai Mara and Kruger National Park in South Africa. Home to over thirty-five species of plain thriving animals, the Serengeti spreads across an area of no less than fourteen thousand square Kilometres thus reaching all the way up to the Kenyan border. Animals found in this Park include lions, cheetahs, gazelles and the annually- migrating wildebeests that spectacularly do so between November and May.

Indeed the migration of the wildebeests was included among the Seven Wonders of the World and rightly so. The phenomenal and instantaneous exodus of the wildebeests in their thousands finds root in the quest for grazing land and a chance to mate. With Vicious Predators either laying in wait or in hot pursuit, the weak, the old and the too young stand very little chance of survival.

The Ngogongoro Conservation Area , rising high above the plains of Serengeti, spans from Lake Natron to Lake Enaysi to Lake Manyara. Resting in this Conservation Area is the active volcanic Mountain-Ol Doinyo Lengai, that in the beautiful Maasai language means Mountain of God and that whose last eruption was in 1983. The Ngorongoro crater is six hundred and ten metres deep, twenty kilometers in diameter and covers an area of three hundred and eleven square kilometers. Save for the Impala, the Topi and the Giraffe, this crater shelters the majority of plain dwelling mammals and it goes without saying that there is nowhere else in Africa that you will find as many predators concentrated in one area as in the Ngorongoro Crater. Should you decide to take a hike in this area, the sighting of the endangered Black Rhino should be most rewarding not to mention birdlife that includes flamingoes that are attracted to the area by the soda-containing crater floor.

Among Tanzania’s many wonderful Parks is the Selous Game Reserve that covers an area bigger than the entire of Switzerland and takes close to a sixth of Tanzania’s Surface Area. This is no wonder given that this Game Reserve is not only one of the biggest in the world but also is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a high concentration of elephants, lions and hundreds and hundreds of other wild animals.

Other parks in Tanzania include Lake Manyara, Gombe National Park, Udzungura Mountains, the Island of Rubondo, the Mahale Mountains, Katavi, Ruaha, Tarangire, Mikumi National Park and Arusha National Park. For those who are lovers of Marine life, Tanzania has many Marine Parks including Kilwa Reserve, Latham Island Reserve, Tanga Coral Gardens and Rufigi Delta. Tanzania also has got a number of proposed national Parks that include Saadani and Kizulo Plateau. As you can see, the options are many and no matter what your choices are, a trip to Tanzania will be most rewarding.

And now, how can the end of this article be neared without mentioning the challenge-tossing Tanzanian Physical feature that has attracted lots of tourists every year in the quest to climb the highest mountain in Africa? Mount Kilimanjaro, resting near Moshi with a spectacular snowy peak, is a good challenge for those who not only want to enjoy a spectactular view of Africa from the Peak but also have many tales thereafter of the wonderful experience in having conquering the highest mountain in Africa.

The Olduvai Gorge is a historical canyon spanning 50 km and 100metres deep and is also in the Ngorongoro Crater area. It has been the site for discovery of three different species of hominid fossils, with the oldest dating back 3 million years. Olduvai came as a result of a river that eroded rock in the area, subsequently exposing layers of volcanic soil in which Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the hominid fossils. A museum has been put up for you to view some of the ancient findings including the remains of a giant giraffe.

We cannot overlook Lake Tanganyika for the simple reason that it’s too grand. It’s the world’s longest and second deepest fresh-water lake. It is the gateway to the Gombe stream and Mahale Mountains National Parks and is central to the building of traditional dhow fishing boats. Make sure you check it out for the mesmerizing feeling that comes with looking at large masses of water.

Within these lines, there is one more place that you must pay a visit to: Zanzibar. This is no doubt one of Africa’s most renown and remarkable islands. This Indian Ocean Tropical Island is well known world over for white sandy beaches and a slow -paced way of life. The traditional dhow boats drifting amidst gently-swaying palm trees in the Zanzibar blissful breeze is a feeling that can only at best be remotely expressed by words. This Island has the allure of a paradise and the mystery of an out-of -this-world experience. Built on its fishing and spice trade, Zanzibar has not changed much and Arabic Influence has left its mark on the island’s architecture moreso in the historical Stone Town. To sum it up, Zanzibar speaks for itself!

Finally, in one sentence: Africa is blessed with many wonderful destinations, yet few of this beat Tanzania which you should seriously think of as you choose your next destination.

Catching frogs from camps own beaver pond is a huge camp sport at Swift Nature Camp. it is a challenge too. The big Bull Frogs put up a big battle to free them selves. Catching frogs is one of favorite things to do at this children’s summer camp. One of the best hunting spots is the lamp poles at night. You see the frogs come up from the pond at night looking for food and all the bugs hanging around the light will do just fine. One might wonder are you eating all these favorite catches. Nope they gan spend on night up at the Nature Center Zoo where they hang with the other animals anc catches then its back to where they were caught at. We at Swift Nature Camp believe that your child’s safety is the most important part of camp. That is why we have a strict Lifejacket rule. Everyone must wear a PDF when in a boat. No exceptions, staff and campers alike. THis is true if on a river canoe trip or on on our own camp lake. Water is so much fun and kids love it but it is dangerous and we must be prepared. About Anger Management Technique

Dealing with anger is never easy, since people always have to face problems and reasons for conflict but our anger management technique is crucial. We have to deal with price increases, arguments, war, violence, crime, everyday common stupidity and continuous interruptions. There is not one person in this sometimes difficult world that has not gotten angry at some point.

Anger is an emotion we all have to cope with. Anger comes in many forms, but the root of anger is hatred or frustration as a result of a previous deception or disappointment, which boils down to poor anger management technique. This is true. But, true or not, even in the Bible it says that when the first man and woman were created on the earth, the first noted problem was when the Devil, in the form of a serpent, lied, deceiving Eve. Once the lie became apparent, the world began suffering many problems, including violence, murder, war, shortages, disease, weather disasters etc.

Since that first lie, the world has become more chaotic and continues to worsen as the years roll by. We can examine how a lie can instigate anger by looking at one individual scenario. That person engaged in criminal activities, like stealing, writing bad checks, and selling prescription medications. Now that person had to embroider lying into the picture, since she felt that her behaviour and actions were only a means of survival.

So, she started lying to cover up her crimes. As the years went by, that person became angry and could not cope, solely as a result of the way she was behaving, her way of thinking, her poor anger management technique, the way she was living her life. That person began acting as anyone suffering from uncontrolled anger would act.

This included, undermining others, insulting others, verbally and physically assaulting, threatening, belittling, mocking, et cetera. The woman was diagnosed with mental illness, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Bipolar. She also had health issues, including diabetes. Now, if we examine all the aspects of that person’s anger and anger management technique, we can see, if we search deep enough, that her lying, which caused paranoia, was the basic reason for her behavioral problems.

A lot of people have a problem with their anger management technique. Many of the people with post-traumatic stress disorder react angrily because they are reacting to a flashback in memory. That is right! People with post traumatic stress disorder often suppress their emotions and when they are violent or angered, it is often the result of fighting the sources that caused their trauma and not the person in their immediate vicinity.

But, we do not see this as the reason for the woman’s anger, since she did not make the problem public knowledge. Therefore, people would exclude post traumatic stress disorder as the cause, or at least lessen the possibility of it. So, now let’s examine diabetes, since this illness affects the nerves. The shortage of insulin creates other problems too, but many people with diabetes will become upset for little or no reason at all.

However, most people do not behave angrily, assault, insult or attack others . If we examine why crimes are committed, we see that very often, serious behavioural problems come from having told lies. Therefore, when we look at this woman’s case again, we can see that we have to deal with the underlying problems that is her lying and get her to move forward, avoiding bouts of frustration, anxiety and anger by using some form of anger management technique.

Now, this person is in denial, which means that until the legal system makes her take steps to anger management technique, then she probably will not get seek herself. In addition, even if the criminal justice system does force her to get help, it probably will not work, since her denial has existed for probably many years. Now we are dealing with a real problem in anger management technique , since her behaviour is life long, which means extensive therapy isrequired.

Anger is a normal emotion, but when it interferes with someone else’s life, it becomes a serious problem. This person is not hurting only one person, she is injuring everyone, because when she steals or writes bad checks, society picks up the tab with higher taxes, as well as other increases. One of the worst problems that I have noticed with this type of person, is that the system and society allows it to continue; only addressing it when the person is in custody. Once the person is released, then it starts again. This is a chain of events involving lack of control due to anger mis-management and bad anger management technique.

Budget Wedding Planner – 6 Basic Ideas

It has always been your illusion to have the ideal wedding surrounded by all your loved ones in a beautiful church filled with gorgeous flowers, live music and a special reception. But you are aware that you don’t have the funds for such a lavish event. If you follow a strict budget using a budget wedding planner, your dream wedding is not out of reach.

Once you have set a date for your wedding, the next thing to do is to come up with a budget wedding planner to help you stay focused and that details most of the things required for your wedding. Your planner should include things as a budget, number of guests, location, time of day, theme, colors, formality, etc…

Once you create your master wedding plan, you can start breaking it up into chunks.

1. Plan everything as far ahead as possible. Many times when planning something months ahead in advanced you are able to get better deals with caterers, reception halls, musicians, etc…

2. Check the different rates vendors offer for the services you need. Try negotiating the cheapest rate possible, you never know how much money this can save you.

3. Think carefully about the size of your wedding, bigger is not necessarily better. A large reception means more money for food, drinks, etc… Overall it will be a bigger expense because of the extra number of guests.

4. A small wedding can be more modest yet more warm and cozy with only your closest family members and friends. It will also be less expensive because it will require a smaller place, less food, drinks, etc…

5. Monitor every single expense you make for your wedding. Avoid unnecessary purchases that can hurt your budget.

6. Accept any help from family and friends. A little help here and there will make a big difference on your budget in the long run.

Don’t fall under pressure to do things you had not planned to do or have at your wedding. Accept any given suggestions and only do those that fit your budget. If you follow your budget wedding planner, it’s very likely that your spending won’t go over budget. Remember, keep track of every single expense you make, only invite close family and friends, bargain with vendors and accept any help from those close to you. May your wedding day turn out to be what you always dreamed about and your happiest day ever.
