On Sundays, head to Rocklea Sunday Discovery Markets where you will find an array of bargains such as second hand books, handmade soap, cupcakes and gourmet dog treats! City Farmers Market, located outside of Reddacliff Place, in front of Brisbane Square takes place every Wednesday from 11am till 6pm. Here you will find bread, freshly made pasta, rich quiches, frittatas and pies. There are also many organic and gluten free items. They also have divine selections of cheeses, dips, olives, and cupcakes, fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables.

The Young Designer Markets features some of Brisbane’s most talented designers and artists. Some designers to look for are Mike Harris from SUGOI, who designs prints inspired by Brisbane’s culture and lifestyle and Sasha and Troy Strebe from DEBRIS BLANC, who offer personally hand made jeans that are one of a kind.

Tamborine Mountain Market is held the second Sunday of each month at Showground’s on Main Western Road. With ample wondering room, live performances, pony rides and a play are, it is the perfect Sunday morning location for families. They offer a variety of fresh produce, plants, herbs and flowers, arts and crafts and clothing. If you’re hungry you can go to the stalls and purchase fresh coffee, Dutch pancakes, German sausage, olives or jacket potatoes. Witches Chase Cheese Outlet and Mount Tamborine Boutique Brewery are located nearby so afterwards visit and make the day complete.
